Best Things to Eat in Las Vegas!

Best Things to Eat in Las Vegas!

This is a guide for all the spots that we tried when we went to Las Vegas. Vegas honestly had some of the best food I've ever had. We were pretty honest  when making this guide and we'll tell you spots that we did try but we actually would not recommend. However, most of the spots we tried when we were in Vegas was  actually really amazing and some of the best food we had. If you like to see the physical post on Instagram you can click this link here.  We stayed at the Cosmopolitan and highly recommend it. This list is organized by hotels. If you've never been to Las Vegas, the Strip is where most of the action happens. There's multiple hotels with themes and delicious food.

Lotus of Siam

Lotus of Siam is hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in the U.S.—easily my personal top pick, though I haven’t tried them all. The salt and pepper shrimp is spot on every time: perfectly crisp, tender, and generously sized. The Penang duck curry is another favorite, with rich, deep flavor and perfectly cooked duck. I also recommend the tom kha, which comes in a good portion and is served bubbling over a mini flame grill. Honestly, everything here hits—we could order the whole menu and be happy. I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like, and I always finish with their mango sticky rice.

Tacos El Gordo

__wf_reserved_inherit

Tacos El Gordo has multiple locations, but we went to the one just off the strip since it’s said to be the best. The meats are sliced fresh off the trompo to order, which is always a win. The tacos were solid and definitely worth trying, though I’m not sure they’re worth the Uber ride off the strip.

China town

Shang Noodle

Shang Beef Noodle

Sheng Noodle might just be the best beef noodle soup I’ve had in the U.S. The noodles are made fresh—you can even watch them being pulled through the glass. The dumplings were fine, but the beef noodle soup is the real star: tender meat, rich flavorful broth, and always a hit. I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like this place.

Hobak

An absolute must if you’re visiting Chinatown, Hobok serves some of the best Korean barbecue in the U.S. The pork belly was tender and delicious, and I highly recommend the beef tartare—it’s rare to find one this authentic, served with Korean pear.

Trattoria Nakamura

Mentaiko Pasta carbonara

Trattoria Nakamura is a unique Italian-Japanese concept in Chinatown, located right next to Raku. We actually stopped in here before heading to Raku, and it had been on my list for years after following them on Instagram. We ordered the fettuccine tomato cream uni pasta, which was rich, tomato-forward, and absolutely packed with uni. We also tried the mille-feuille tonkatsu—almost like a cordon bleu in tonkatsu form—and the mussel escargot, which cleverly swaps mussels for snails. The standout for us was definitely the uni fettuccine, though the mentaiko pasta was also a favorite.

Hattie B’s

The first spot we tried in Las Vegas This is a famous spot from Nashville that serves nashville hot chicken. We ordered their hot chicken sandwich. The hot chicken sandwich was actually really really good and one of the best I've ever had.

Secret Pizza

__wf_reserved_inherit

Secret Pizza is a spot located near a corner on the third floor. You know you found the right place whenever you see a hallway full of records. It gets really really busy toward later in the night and they do not accept call in orders.. The NY pizza here was really good and kind of reminded me of Costco pizza.

Eggslut

If you're in Las Vegas make sure to go try this spot. We ordered the Fairfax sandwich and the BEC.. The most famous sandwich is a Fairfax sandwich with soft scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese. What makes the sandwiches here taste so good is their special spicy ketchup. Make sure to also order the eggslut, which is a coddled egg on top of pureed potatoes, it also comes with a slice of toasted bread for you to dip it into. They're only open for breakfast and lunch.

Tekka

__wf_reserved_inherit

Tekka is a handroll bar located inside the cosmo. It can be hard to find seating because It is walk up counter bar. I recommend getting a set of  4 to try to fill yourself up. I also recommend ordering some of their special sauces to dip your hand rolls into. As soon as you order, they roll the hand rolls in front of you fresh and serve it to you immediately.

Wicked Spoon

The Wicked Spoon is an all-you-can-eat buffet located inside the cosmo. We went there because we saw it on the show buzzfeed's worth it. The selection of food here is pretty diverse. They have things like shrimp and grits, bone marrow, and Vietnamese crawfish. The dessert was pretty good but I felt like the food here was kind of subpar and not anything was in particular was really amazing. We made a reservation a couple weeks in advance.

District kitchen

District kitchen is a famous donut spot located in Louisiana. We ordered a croque monsieur donut, a kolache and a chocolate donut. Honestly it was kind of heavy so make sure to save some room for the spot however it was super good and one of the best donuts I've had.

Bouchon (can skip)

__wf_reserved_inherit

Bouchon is one of the most famous brunch spots in Vegas. We tried the chicken with a side of pourable gravy (really delicious) and a piece of waffle. The almond croissant was excellent, but everything else fell flat. The muffin and plain croissant were dry and stale, and the Eggs Benedict was a miss since the egg was overcooked and not runny. For the prices they charge, the food just didn’t hold up.

Mott 32  (maybe can skip)

Mott 32 with the best meal we had in Vegas. The Peking duck is reservation only and I believed it cost around 90 bucks. Our biggest regret was we didn't make a reservation for ther Iberico pork. The food here was really really good and the Peking duck was served traditional with Crepes on the side. The only negative was that you don't get all the duck unless you purchase some appetizers.  Our most recent visit in 2024 yielded a more dry duck and underwhelming meal. May not be the most consistent spot.

Bouchon Bakery

The most frustrating part about this spot was that their Google location was not updated. If you follow the address on Google then you'll come to a close down Bakery. What we did was we talked to the security guard upfront and he told us that it was located by the escalators. These are world famous macarons and they're honestly kind of large but they were really tasty. You can also take home a souvenir box like the one featured in this post.

Make sure to also try Royce chocolate when you visit this hotel.

Skip: Carlos bakery, sloans icecream

Paris Paris

Mon Ami Bistro (may be able to skip)

We made a reservation in advance for the spot. The food was decent. It wasn't amazing. My favorite dish was goat cheese with tomato sauce. The escargot is considered one of their most famous dishes.

Caesars Palace

Hells Kitchen

A great tourist spot, prefixe meal with beef Wellington, your choice of app, and a toffee pudding. This is a must-try spot if you're a fan of his TV show and if you've always wanted to try the Beef Wellington.

PARK MGM

Best Friend

A concept by Roy Choi , it’s affordable and large portions , Asian fusion food. The uni rice and the yuzu shrimp were my favorite. The galbi is a must. Not mind blowing but worth a visit!

Make sure to try Eataly when you're in this area
